Tim Winters
Over the years Tim has backed many a big name including Geno Washington, Marmalade, Tammy Wynette, The Rocking Berries, Chuck Berry, Johnny Kidd, Brooks and Dunn, and The Bachelors.
The haircuts may have changed from "D.A" to "Afro" to "Clean Shaven", but the music remains the same! Local bands such as "The Raiders", "Anno Domini", "Preston Ferry", "Husky", "The Bartell Country Band", "The Banshees", "Sounds Country" and the "JJ, Dale Outfit" have all benefited from Tim's fabulous stage presence.
As the Winter in "Summers and Winters" in the 70's, to the other half of the "Swinging 60's", via the sensational Beatle tribute, "Beatles 2" Tim has kept the sounds of the 60's alive and kicking.
The early 60's saw Tim play the legendary clubs of Germany. The 70's saw him playing the out door festivals of Scandinavia. In the 80's he was all over Europe and the Far East. The sunny shores of Spain welcomed him in the 90's and then it was off to the glitter and lights of Las Vegas, the USA and Canada, where the hugely popular Line Dancing "craze" was well under way .
